The Champions League, bizarrely, has been the one refuge for Leicester this season.

The reigning Premier League champions have put up an awful defence of their title and were knocked out of the FA Cup by Millwall, however they’ve been going toe-to-toe with Europe’s elite.

Since their last Champions League game things have turned much more sour though for Claudio Ranieri’s team, with relegation now a real prospect. The likes of Jamie Vardy, Riyad Mahrez, Danny Drinkwater and Wes Morgan have been so disappointing this season after capturing the hearts of the football loving world last season. Tonight is a chance for them to prove there is more to them than a single season of incredible overachievement. They can also relieve some pressure on Ranieri, the man they owe so much for guiding them to the title.
